Miracle of life
I believe gratitude is the miracle of life we are yet to embrace. With gratitude, life is full of abundance we often neglect. Take a deep breath and exhale any negative thoughts; relax and enjoy reading.
I am grateful for practicing gratitude, for it helps me feel and see most of the blessings of the Almighty in my life. As it says in my holy scripture, "If you are grateful to me, I will give you more."
I am grateful for gratitude, as it provides valuable insights about life and helps keep the mind sane, reducing anxiety and depression. Gratitude makes you appreciate what you have without comparing negatively.
I am grateful for gratitude, as it helps us value the things we often see as insignificant. For example, we take for granted those who drive us to our daily destinations. Do you know about the inventors of these means of transportation we use today?
Car: Karl Benz revolutionized transportation with the first true automobile in 1886.
Tricycle: Stephan Farffler's tricycle in 1680 paved the way for three-wheeled mobility.
Bicycle: Karl von Drais's 1817 invention, the "Draisine," gave us the first two-wheeled wonder.
From three wheels to four, these inventors rolled out the future!
I am grateful to all the drivers out there. Thank you for the ride to my various destinations every day, especially in this rainy season 😊. For a person like me who is yet to get her car, no laugh 😀 o!
I am grateful for freedom. This is relative, but here let me elaborate: the ability to make choices and live freely. In this economy, we are all complaining, but we still find a way to make stew even though fresh tomatoes are expensive. We learn to improve with other options. Imagine life without tomatoes or peppers—gosh! I am grateful for these products that grace my taste buds.
Did you know that tomatoes were born in the wilds of South America and travelled with explorers to Europe in the 16th century? Initially, Europeans thought they were poisonous, calling them the "love apple." Eventually, the tomato charmed its way into kitchens worldwide, becoming the star of sauces, salads, and everything in between.
Peppers, both spicy and sweet, hail from Central and South America. Christopher Columbus encountered them on his quest for spices and mistook them for black pepper, naming them "peppers." These fiery and flavourful fruits quickly spiced up cuisines around the globe, igniting a love for heat in our dishes. Together, tomatoes and peppers have turned the culinary world into a vibrant, flavourful fiesta!
Which of the favours of the Almighty can we, mankind, deny?
Share with us what gratitude is doing for you!
